Sponsorships

Our public events rely on sponsors. You can show your support for the preservation of the agricultural heritage of the Kaw Valley by sponsoring one of our events.

Volunteer

We need volunteers for our upcoming event! Whether it’s directing traffic, setting up tables and chairs, greeting the public, or providing educational material, your help is always appreciated.

Show up!

Our community leaders need to hear from you. Show up, speak up, and make our position known at public meetings where policy decisions on farmland are being made by our leaders,

*Tax Deduction statement

We welcome contributions from both individuals and businesses who share our commitment to preserving our Kaw Valley agricultural heritage.  We are a registered non-profit 501(c)3 corporation with the state of Kansas. Your contributions may be tax deductible, but PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:

  • While we have official 501 (c)3 status from the state of Kansas, we are awaiting final approval from the IRS.  All required forms and documents have been submitted for review and approval.  Our legal team has told us this process can take several months. They see no roadblocks but we can’t be absolutely certain of the outcome of the decision by the IRS.

  • If approval is granted: Any contributions to the Save Our Soils Kaw Valley Foundation made after July 8, 2025 would qualify as a charitable deduction to a 501(c)3 non-profit charity for income tax purposes.

  • If approval is not granted:  Your contributions may not be tax deductible, but would be appreciated regardless.
